Coach Love Poppy

Coach has just introduced their new Poppy Collection for Fall '09 and it looks so vibrant & colorful compared to their usual designs. The bags are vibrant and fresh, full of bright colors, prints, new fabrics and yes -- sequins! This collection is just LOVE!


Coach is now offering this new line of bags and accessories that are less expensive than Coach generally is to appeal to the younger crowd. heads up, recessionistas!

Coach’s Creative Director Reed Krakoff commented,

“Poppy offers a different attitude that is younger in spirit. It’s playful, with more prints, interesting fabrics and more experimentation. These are countered with a more classic shape or a more traditional construction.

The line is cohesive but has a diverse range of items, from a tote covered in a profusion of red sequins to “Gossip Girl”-worthy tiaras to pochettes covered in strands of gold beads.”

Brit's If You Seek Amy Shoes

I love both of Brit's look int the If You Seek Amy video. But her shoes are the ones that really caught my eye.The 1st shoe we see is during the dance sequence bit where Brit rocks a dramatic pair of red pumps adorned with rouched petals and a wedge toe.

As we all know those are designed by Christian Louboutin and especially made for Britney. In fact, she was the first person to wear them and these pumps will only hit stores in April. Commissioned by 3.1 designer Philip Lim last year for his Spring 2009 runway presentation, the shoes are made of red nappa (full grain, supersoft leather). 

They are called 'Dillians' and versions of these in snakeskin and metallics were featured on the Phillip Lim s/s 09 runway in heeled and flat versions.

Now, on to the white shoes. These shoes make a brief appearance during the bridge, where Brit transforms into the 1950s housewife and slips into these babies.

The shoes are white patent leather Giuseppe Zanotti Design platform high heels. I kinda guessed they were from the thin heels. HOT!

And I LOVE her corset damnit!

The black corset from London lingerie designer Bordelle is paired with sexy plastic-look leggings customised to show flashes of flesh running down her legs. The corset has several large, diamond-shaped holes cut through the fabric.

Christian Louboutin Pays Tribute to Barbie

High Heels: Barbie may be turning 50 next year, but she isn't quite ready to trade in her fancy footwear for orthopedic shoes.

Christian Louboutin is designing pumps in iconic Barbie Pantone 219 Pink, which will make their debut at the special runway show that Mattel Inc. is staging during New York fashion week next February.

Fifty as-yet-undisclosed designers will produce Barbie-inspired outfits for the runway, and each of the 50 models will be wearing the pink Louboutins at the show.

"I guess I always had a little 'girlie side' who liked Barbie," Louboutin said. "Barbie needs to wear great
shoes because every girl needs to wear great shoes."
