Ellen and Portia's Wedding Day!

The wedding was simple yet elegant.

Both Ellen & Portia wore Zac Posen -- a backless white and pale pink gown for de Rossi; white pants, a vest and diaphanous shirt for DeGeneres. Portia looked especially gorgeous.

Ellen finally released a video from the wedding, so here it is! The song featured is Today by Joshua Radin.

You Don't Mess With The Lohan

Lindsay will be featured in Marie Claire's October '08 issue. Between filming Labor Pains and Ugly Betty, Lindsay found time to open up to the magazine regarding her work, her dad's paternity dispute and of course, Samantha Ronson.


Here is a bit from her interview.

Lindsay on Samantha Ronson and how she has changed: “I’m really happy. She’s a great person. And she’s a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that’s changed [in] my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it, and I’ve learned to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward.”

About her and Samantha’s tattoos: “Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that. She got this. [Points to a small heart etched on her hand].”

Lindsay on her music: “This business is very ‘go, go, go,’ and you’re constantly surrounded by people, and then everything stops. So you can feel invalid in a weird way. I find [the recording studio] therapeutic.”

On Michael's paternity dispute: "I don't know what's going on with it. I haven't asked him any questions. Apparently we've been in the dark for so many years. We've gone through enough with him. Enough is enough — until he decides to be a grown-up."

On her new attitude towards filming: "It's a lot of pressure, because everyone's depending on you. And your mood, when you go on set, everybody feels it. On a day when you're tired, it's important to just say good morning to everyone so they're kind of aware that it's gonna be a good day. Jamie Lee Curtis told me that."

On her resolve not to go back to her old ways: "I've learned. I'll never go back. And it's not a never-say-never type thing - it's just, I know. I know."

The ribbed leggings are from her new line, 6126 by Lindsay Lohan.

Lilo in Labour Pains

So, here's the trailer for Labor Pains. It's an indie comedy that finds Lohan playing Thea, a young woman who's about to be fired from her job when she lies to her boss that she's pregnant. Enter fake bellies, fake birthing classes, and a fake relationship to go along with it all.

The project has a pretty great cast, comedy-wise, with Janeane Garofalo, Cheryl Hines, and Chris Parnell among the stars (also, Creed Bratton from The Office. And, um, Kevin Covais from American Idol).

The movie doesn't have a release date yet other than a vague "sometime in 2009".

Can't wait to see Lilo again! :)

MTV VMA '08 - The Queen Is Here

Queen Britney returned to the MTV Video Music Awards in a major way this year , getting the last laugh after a disastrous 2007 appearance by winning the first three awards of her career: female video, pop video and video of the year for "Piece of Me."

Lets start off from the beginning.

She kicked off the show with Superbad's Jonas Hill in a pre-taped skit, where he tried to teach her some relaxation techniques.

She was sooooo adorable *melts* Just looks at her!

Britney didn't perform. Still, just being there was enough for a standing ovation from the star-studded crowd long before she opened her mouth to get things rolling.

Maybe the audience was simply excited to see a glimpse of Britney looking fab once again. My pop queen wore a glittering vintage Atelier Versace dress, Platt jewels and Jimmy Choo heels which showcased her svelte figure.

She looked a little nervous at first but she did just fine. After being escorted from her dressing room, Spears took center stage, clutched the microphone tight, and announced, "I'm here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday.This is the 25th Video Music Awards – and it starts right now."

And just those few lines sent me into a giddy frenzy. LOL.

Only one person can do that - Brit!

A slew of celebrities also took the opportunity to take pictures with the star of the night. Who wouldn't? :D

Paris Hilton - looks so much better standing next to Brit than that "Igor" Benji Madden *puke3*. And I love love love P.Hill's Miu Miu plum and black strapless dress with a poofy skirt!

Taylor Swift - should have won Best New Artist (or Katy Perry, NOT Tokio Hotel). Her album is awesome if you don't mind country tunes. She's a great singer-songwriter & she looks like Barbie in her videos O.O

Jordin Sparks - don't like her but watevs. Damn bitch is wearing the Betsey Johnson dress I've been eyeing. When I saw this pic I was like "Is that my Betsey dress???" I checked & I was right. Damn her. Humph!
Jonas Brothers - don't like 'em but...lucky them to get a pic with Brit!

Britney attended the VMA's with longtime manager, Larry Rudolph. Am I glad he's back with Brit :)
At the end of the show, after Brit won for video Of the Year, Russel Brand totally "kidnapped" Britney, whisking her off on a golf-cart.
